Jacy Jayne Wins NXT Women’s Championship

Jacy Jayne captured the NXT Women's Championship from Stephanie Vaquer on May 27, benefiting from Fallon Henley's key assist and external interferences.

NXT Women’s Championship changed hands during the May 27 broadcast of WWE NXT, as Jacy Jayne defeated Stephanie Vaquer to secure the title for the first time. Fallon Henley’s involvement proved critical in the outcome.

Late in the contest, apparent discord surfaced involving Jayne and Henley, with Jazmyn Nyx even being pushed to the ground amidst their argument. Despite this, Nyx managed to create a diversion by distracting the referee.

This opening allowed Henley to strike Vaquer with a Feint Kick. Following Henley’s maneuver, Jayne then connected with a Discus Forearm on Vaquer, leading directly to the pinfall victory and championship win.

The result visibly surprised many in attendance, and announcer Mike Rome paused before officially declaring the new champion, his expression reflecting the unexpected turn of events. Earlier in the match, Dalys and Chik Tormenta from AAA interfered, but Lola Vice neutralized their efforts.

This incident precedes a scheduled contest where Vice will team with Vaquer to face Dalys and Chik Tormenta at the upcoming WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event.
