Janel Grant’s legal team has filed a motion to amend their lawsuit against former WWE CEO Vince McMahon, introducing new evidence including text and voice messages. Attorney Ann Callis addressed these developments in a statement to Ringside News.
Ms. Grant’s amended complaint reveals new details that further demonstrate the sexual abuse she suffered at the hands of Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis and pulls back the curtain on the dangerous workplace culture McMahon created at WWE. Ms. Grant looks forward to holding her abusers accountable in a court of law.

The amended complaint details several previously undisclosed allegations, including McMahon allegedly offering Grant to Brock Lesnar during contract negotiations and instructing her to send explicit content to Lesnar. The filing also contains text messages allegedly showing McMahon claiming exclusive control over arranging Grant’s sexual encounters.

Additional evidence includes claims that McMahon filmed Grant without consent and shared the footage with John Laurinaitis. The complaint also states WWE’s 2022 internal investigation into McMahon’s NDAs did not include an interview with Grant.
A voicemail transcript reveals McMahon allegedly pressuring Grant to sign an NDA quickly to prevent his removal from WWE. The filing also includes a text message in which McMahon allegedly stated his exclusive control over Grant.
The lawsuit’s expansion comes as TKO Group Holdings, WWE’s parent company, faces questions about the corporate culture during McMahon’s leadership tenure, despite his recent resignation from the organization.
