A recent report from Fightful.com has offered insight into Jay White’s contractual standing with AEW amidst his ongoing absence. According to the report, White is likely under a three-year agreement with the promotion.
Furthermore, the report indicates that his contract might be extended to compensate for time missed due to injury, potentially pushing its expiration into 2026.
White has not competed since a match against Kevin Knight in March 2025, during which he suffered a hand injury. This setback reportedly altered creative direction, as he was slated for a significant role in this year’s Owen Hart Foundation tournament.
Since signing with AEW in 2022, White has been featured prominently, achieving success within the tag team and trios divisions with Juice Robinson and The Gunns.
