The tongue-in-cheek post comes after Fightful’s March 13 report identifying Cobb as a WWE target, with sources suggesting he’d appeared on internal WWE rosters. Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer later confirmed contract discussions between Cobb and WWE, though no deal has been finalized.
Cobb’s free agency status remains fluid after his standout NJPW run, with the 41-year-old Olympian keeping fans guessing about his next move. His musical reference to “catching your wave” suggests he may simply be enjoying downtime before announcing his wrestling future.
