A King of the Ring semifinal match between former tag team partners Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes has been made official for the next installment of WWE RAW. The confirmation came after a tense in-ring encounter between the two competitors closed this week’s broadcast.
Uso earned his place in the tournament’s next stage by winning a fatal four-way match earlier in the evening against Bronson Reed, Sheamus, and Rusev. That victory saw interference from Sami Zayn, Penta, and LA Knight.
Following the match, Seth Rollins attempted to attack Uso. However, Cody Rhodes made an intervention that forced Rollins to retreat from the ring. This sequence of events led to a respectful but charged staredown between Rhodes and Uso.
After the show concluded, Jey Uso posted a message to his Instagram account. While displaying a new tattoo, he shared a single-word caption reflecting his perseverance through recent attacks and injuries.
“Strong.🩸 #YeeTAF.”
