Jordynne Grace has raised the stakes for her immediate future, declaring that her path to the NXT Women’s Championship at WWE Evolution is her final opportunity to win the gold.
The declaration of finality came in a video released by WWE on June 21, following her qualifying match victory over Lola Vice on the preceding episode of NXT.
Honestly, I feel like I’ve had opportunity after opportunity to get the job done, and when I get my final opportunity, Evolution, it has to be the last one. It has to be it for me.

Her victory secured her a spot in a No. 1 contender’s four-way match against Lash Legend, Jaida Parker, and Izzi Dame. The winner of that contest will challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Title at the WWE Evolution event on July 13 in Atlanta.
Grace’s comments add a significant layer of drama to her NXT run, especially as reports indicate WWE plans to move her to either RAW or SmackDown after the summer. This potential main roster call-up provides critical context for why this may indeed be her last chance in the developmental brand.
Women’s wrestling has gone through an evolution, pro wrestling has gone through an evolution, and now I need to go through an evolution and finally become the NXT Women’s Champion.
The company’s long-term commitment to Grace is clear, as she signed a multi-year contract reportedly extending through 2029. Her potential is also recognized by industry veterans, with Booker T stating that Grace “checks every box” WWE looks for in a talent. For now, her entire focus is on making her self-proclaimed last shot count.
