Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship by defeating Bianca Belair and Naomi in the main event of Monday’s RAW. This victory marks their third reign with the titles, making them the first team in WWE history to achieve this milestone.
The 12-minute match concluded with interference from Dominik Mysterio, which played a role in The Judgment Day members securing the championship. Naomi had stepped in as Belair’s partner after Jade Cargill suffered an injury, leading to this title opportunity.
According to PWInsider, WWE planned this title change well in advance, with the intention of giving Morgan and Rodriguez a strong push following their feud with Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. Their previous rivalry with Ripley had ended with Morgan and Rodriguez failing to capture Ripley’s championship.
