Karrion Kross has secured an audiobook deal with Audible as his current WWE contract reportedly nears its conclusion. The professional wrestler confirmed his involvement in the project, stating he will narrate the book himself.
Kross revealed news of the Audible agreement on social media. “To finally answer your questions… Yes, I signed a deal with Audible 💯 And my book will be narrated by me— as you requested. Thank you to all who continue to encourage & support me to keep pushing forward or try new things. This was very fun 👊🏼👊🏼 #BTS 📖👂 #LifeIsFighting Audiobook coming soon, Keep you posted!” he stated in his social media post. He also shared a brief video clip of himself reading from what appears to be a personal account of his life story.
During an interview with Ariel Helwani, Kross conveyed significant anger regarding the leak of his contract situation. “Whoever did it. That put me over the edge… I’m still pretty pissed about it…” Kross commented, emphasizing, “It really bothered me because it’s about privacy, you know what I mean? Who the hell was supposed to know about that?”
Fightful Select reported earlier that Kross is in his contract year with WWE and that progress on a new agreement has been minimal. The report indicated that WWE had not yet approached Kross concerning an extension or renewal, nor had the company signaled any interest in doing so. This Audible project marks Kross’s initial independent undertaking outside professional wrestling amidst an ambiguous phase in his career, allowing him control over his personal narrative.
