
Kevin Kesar, known as Karrion Kross, finds his current WWE contract status unaffected by increasing fan support. Reports indicate Kesar’s existing deal is set to expire this summer, placing him in a contract year with seemingly little progress on an extension.
Fightful Select sources confirm WWE has not approached Kesar regarding a contract renewal. These same sources indicated no awareness of any company interest in re-signing him.
Kesar returned to WWE in August 2022 alongside his wife, Scarlett, under the leadership of Paul Levesque. This marked his second tenure with the company, following an initial run from 2020 to November 2021.

During his prior run, Kesar secured the NXT Championship, defeating Finn Bálor in April 2021.
A series of promos featuring Kesar garnered significant fan appreciation, particularly after one delivered on WWE’s “WrestleMania Recap” following WrestleMania 41. This led to fans expressing their support for Kesar on social media and at WWE live events. In that specific interview, Kesar voiced his frustration over a perceived lack of opportunities within WWE. More recently, he addressed his exclusion from Money in the Bank, noting he was not involved in any qualifying bouts for the premium live event. After the “WrestleMania Recap” interview, Scarlett also hinted at a potential departure from WWE.
Kesar’s most recent televised match occurred in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania. His last televised singles bout was a loss against AJ Styles on the April 14 broadcast of WWE RAW.
