The star approached Omega and his companions, curious about their matching tracksuits, asking, “Are you guys part of a sports team or something?” Omega clarified they were wrestlers.
Reeves, expressing his interest with a “Man, that’s fcking cool,”* then questioned wrestling’s popularity where they were. Omega explained its significant cultural presence. This led Reeves to ask if he could sit and chat with them further about the wrestling world, which Omega welcomed.
The conversation took a personal turn when Omega revealed he had just watched Reeves’ film, “Man of Tai Chi.” He told the actor, “Fck man, it was such a good movie, like I really loved it.”* This praise visibly surprised and pleased Reeves during their discussion.
