Liv Morgan recently clarified Dominik Mysterio’s conspicuous absence from her ringside during recent WWE RAW matches. Appearing on the Raw Recap program, Morgan addressed why Mysterio has not accompanied her for contests since her return to WWE programming on May 26.
She explained her decision: “Yeah, I’ve asked Dominik to stay back. Is that okay with you? I’ve asked Dominik to please, I know you care for me so much and you just want the best for me. But respectfully and lovingly, stay back and let me cook.”
This statement accounts for a shift from their previously constant on-screen association, with their interactions now confined to backstage segments. Morgan has been unsuccessful in both her televised matches since returning from filming her role in “Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo,” including a Money in the Bank qualifying match on the June 2 WWE RAW. The current on-screen separation is understood to be part of their developing storyline, which has reportedly included scripted tension involving Roxanne Perez, and there are no indications of any off-screen issues between Morgan and Mysterio.

Neither Morgan nor Mysterio are currently advertised for the Money in the Bank event this Saturday. However, there are reports suggesting the pair could potentially make an appearance at the WWE & AAA Worlds Collide event, which is scheduled for the same day.
