Logan Paul Declines $15 Million Fight Offer to Focus on WWE Championship Pursuit

Forrmer WWE United States Champion reveals sacrificing a lucrative combat sports payday to challenge Jey Uso for World Heavyweight gold at Backlash.

Logan Paul has made his WWE priorities clear after rejecting a $15 million fight offer to remain focused on his wrestling career. The revelation came during Monday Night Raw’s recap show following a heated exchange with World Heavyweight Champion Jey Uso, who dismissed Paul as “just a YouTuber” during their confrontation.

I got offered $15 million to fight Messi’s bodyguard. Super appetizing, super cool, but I’m a WWE Superstar. I’m on a mission right now… I turned that down and I’m gonna be the best that I can. I’m available.

Paul’s commitment appears to be paying dividends as he positions himself for a potential title shot against Uso at Backlash on May 10. The social media megastar-turned-wrestler has steadily ascended WWE’s ranks since signing his full-time contract in 2022, recently defending his United States Championship at WrestleMania 41.

The declined fight offer – which would have paired Paul against soccer legend Lionel Messi’s security chief – underscores his transition from crossover attraction to dedicated WWE performer. His public challenge to Uso sets the stage for what could become Paul’s first world championship opportunity since joining the company.
