Logan Paul and John Cena will unite at the WWE Money in the Bank 2025 Premium Live Event in Los Angeles to clash with Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes in a tag team bout. Rhodes issued the challenge for this match after interrupting Cena’s intervention on behalf of Paul during Paul’s World Heavyweight Championship challenge against Uso at last month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Paul recently posted an image on X/Twitter showing himself with the World Heavyweight Championship and Cena with the Undisputed WWE Championship after their attack on Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes. The image was captioned with the single word: “Tonight.”
Paul later reflected on Cena’s recent heel turn, which materialized at Elimination Chamber when Cena, The Rock, and Travis Scott collaborated to assault Cody Rhodes. On the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Paul opined that Cena “finally realized it’s just better on this side of the fence. The grass is much greener on the side of the heel.”
Paul elaborated on the appeal of a heel persona, noting, “You could be real. You can say what you want to say. You’re not worried about always being liked or selling tickets or getting your merchandise or hitting the bottom line.” He concluded by endorsing Cena’s current approach, stating, “And that’s the wave I think John is on right now, and I love it.”
Cena previously secured the Undisputed WWE Championship by defeating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41, aided by Travis Scott. Rhodes subsequently took a hiatus before his comeback at last month’s Saturday Night’s Main Event.
