I genuinely enjoyed working with Vince. He made time for talent and welcomed creative input.
She highlighted his hands-on involvement in her 2017 Money in the Bank storyline, recalling his detailed direction for promos. Carmella also credited McMahon for greenlighting her on-screen partnership with James Ellsworth after recognizing their chemistry.
“We shared a willingness to try unconventional ideas,” she noted, adding that McMahon respected her willingness to voice concerns about creative decisions.
Carmella’s WWE tenure concluded in early 2025. McMahon resigned from TKO/WWE in January 2024 following serious legal allegations, which he disputes. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion’s comments focus solely on her personal experiences during her wrestling career.
