Maria Kanellis-Bennett announced her departure from AEW on January 31, 2025. Her tenure with the company included appearances alongside Mike Bennett as part of The Kingdom, followed by a managerial position with Cole Karter and Griff Garrison in ROH during 2023.
Prior to joining AEW, Kanellis-Bennett competed in WWE from 2004 to 2010, returning in 2017 with Mike Bennett. Their WWE run concluded in 2020 following their release. During this period, she captured the 24/7 Championship and welcomed her second child in February 2020.
While an earlier deleted social media post mentioned her planned presence in Indianapolis this weekend, subsequent updates clarified her attendance at WrestleCon. Kanellis-Bennett expressed anticipation for her next career phase as she concludes her time with AEW.
