
Motor City Machine Guns have revealed Triple H played a pivotal role in their decision to join WWE after 20 years on the independent circuit. In an interview with CBS Sports, Alex Shelley described the WWE executive’s respectful approach during negotiations as instrumental to their signing.
“We wanted to be players on his team,” Shelley stated about working under Triple H’s creative leadership. The veteran duo made an immediate impact, capturing the WWE Tag Team Championships just one week after their October 2024 debut.
Sabin shared they only learned about their title victory hours before the match. “We didn’t know until we arrived at the building that day,” he admitted, describing the moment as surreal.
