Cody Rhodes is being advertised for the upcoming May 16 episode of WWE SmackDown. This marks a potential televised appearance for Rhodes, who has been absent from WWE programming since WrestleMania 41. At that event, he lost the Undisputed WWE Championship to John Cena.
Further fueling anticipation for his return, WrestleVotes reported via a Sportskeeda Q&A that Cody Rhodes is expected in Los Angeles for the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event on June 7. The report indicates his presence is planned for the show.
“I do believe he’s still scheduled to be a part of the Money in the Bank show,” WrestleVotes stated. “Don’t know if he’s wrestling. Don’t know if that’s when his return will happen, but as far as I know, he will be in Los Angeles for that PLE.”

The SmackDown advertisement this Friday, combined with the Money in the Bank report and poster inclusion, points towards WWE actively planning Cody Rhodes’ reintroduction. His exact role for the June Premium Live Event, should he appear, remains a key point of interest.
