Mercedes Moné secured the CMLL World Women’s Championship at AEW Grand Slam: Mexico, defeating Zeuxis in a singles match. Moné executed a reversal of a top rope powerslam attempt from Zeuxis, then completed a pin to win the bout.
Zeuxis’s championship reign concluded at 278 days. During this period, Zeuxis successfully defended the title twice.
This victory adds another championship to Mone’s current collection, which includes the AEW TBS Championship, the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, and the EWA Women’s Championship.
