Public speculation surrounding a potential relationship between AEW talents Mercedes Moné and The Beast Mortos has been addressed, with Moné providing confirmation of their status. The talk intensified after Mortos posted a photograph of the two on social media.
The post from Mortos featured a caption that fueled the fan discussion regarding the nature of their connection.
“en tus brazos encuentro paz,” the caption stated, which translates to “In your arms I find peace.”
In a statement to TMZ Sports, Moné verified that she and Mortos are dating.

The timeline for the start of their relationship has not been specified. This development comes nearly one year after Moné filed for divorce from Sarath Ton, her husband of eight years. Moné had previously disclosed that she and Ton had been separated for several years prior to the divorce filing and that the separation was amicable.
Mortos, beyond his wrestling career, is a former veterinarian and nurse. He is also four months away from becoming a licensed attorney.
