Multi-Time WWE Champion Officially Signs with TNA

Former WWE star Elias, now known as Elijah, officially signs with TNA Wrestling following his debut appearance teaming with Joe Hendry against The Colóns on February 20.

TNA Wrestling announced today the signing of former WWE star Elias, who now performs under the name Elijah. The multi-time WWE champion made his TNA debut on February 20 during a live episode of Impact, where he teamed with Joe Hendry.

During his debut appearance, Elijah came to the aid of TNA World Champion Joe Hendry, who was facing a two-on-one attack from The Colóns. This initial appearance has now led to a full-time contract with the promotion.

TNA released an official statement regarding the signing, confirming the acquisition of the top free agent.

TNA Wrestling confirmed today that it has signed top free agent Elijah, who made a shocking appearance February 20th on the live episode of iMPACT!, saving TNA World Champion Joe Hendry from a two-on-one attack by The Colons.

The Pittsburgh native will discuss his decision to join TNA Wrestling during an appearance on Busted Open Radio. The interview is scheduled for Friday, February 28, starting at 11am EST on SiriusXM channel 156.

Elijah began his professional wrestling career in 2008 and spent approximately ten years with WWE, where he captured multiple championships. His accomplishments in WWE include winning the Breakout Superstar of the Year award in 2018.

Fans will have opportunities to see Elijah perform at upcoming TNA live events in El Paso on March 14-15. The first night features Sacrifice, which will air live on the TNA+ app, while the second night will feature matches taped for Impact on AXS TV.
