Toni Storm regained the AEW Women’s World Championship at Grand Slam: Australia, defeating Mariah May at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre. The match marked Storm’s first title victory since losing the championship to May at All In: London in 2024.
The heated rivalry between the former allies intensified after May won the 2024 Owen Hart Cup and betrayed Storm, leading to their championship match at All In where The Glamour captured the title.
Storm took a four-month hiatus following the loss before returning in December 2024.
