Wrestling veteran Dutch Mantell recently discussed a concerning moment from the May 26, 2025, episode of WWE RAW, involving Penta and Chad Gable. Speaking on his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, Mantell addressed a specific maneuver during the triple-threat Money in the Bank qualifying match that also featured Dragon Lee.
The incident in question occurred when Penta executed an Underhook Piledriver on Gable, which resulted in Gable being visibly busted open. Mantell characterized the move as a botch, emphasizing the potential for serious injury.
“I am not putting it on Penta, but there was Penta and Chad [Gable] and they got it screwed up and he almost got hurt,” Mantell stated. “He [Gable] is lucky he didn’t get hurt, and I am glad he didn’t, but he’s a tough guy.” The wrestling veteran suggested that both performers contributed to the misexecution of the move.
Despite the hazardous spot, Chad Gable continued the contest. Penta ultimately won the qualifying match, securing his first-ever entry into the men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The contest itself featured several notable moments, with reports from the event indicating Gable also endured a sit-out powerbomb that led to a busted forehead and a near neck injury, prompting a check from medical staff.
Both Chad Gable and Dragon Lee are scheduled for appearances at the AAA x NXT Worlds Collide event on June 7 in Inglewood, California. Gable is set to defend the AAA Mega Championship against El Hijo del Vikingo, while Dragon Lee will participate in a six-man tag team match alongside LWO members.
