Nia Jax has taken to Instagram to reveal the graphic aftermath of her intense WWE Women’s Championship match against Tiffany Stratton, which served as the main event for the May 16 episode of WWE SmackDown. The images shared by Jax display the bloody injury she sustained to her face during the contest.

The injury occurred late in the match when Nia Jax, holding a steel chair, was met with a devastating dropkick from Tiffany Stratton that drove the chair directly into Jax’s face. This impact immediately busted Jax open, causing visible bleeding from her forehead area.

Following the event, Jax posted photographs on her Instagram account showcasing her bloodied face. She accompanied the images with a defiant caption, stating, “Nobody makes me bleed my own blood.”

The reigning WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton, offered a direct and succinct response to Nia Jax’s Instagram post. Stratton commented on Jax’s pictures with the simple message: “I did.”

The turbulent championship encounter saw Stratton ultimately retain her title by executing the ‘Prettiest Moonsault Ever’ after the chair incident. Earlier in the match, tensions flared when Naomi attempted to interfere with a steel chair, only to be chased off by Jade Cargill. There was also a moment where Jax delivered her “annihilator” maneuver, but Stratton managed to break the subsequent pinfall by reaching the ropes, leading to an increasingly frustrated Jax retrieving the chair that eventually led to her injury.
