Nic Nemeth Details Efforts to Bring WWE Legend to TNA

Nic Nemeth revealed discussions with Barbie Blank (Kelly Kelly) about a TNA role, following her appearance with him at Border Pro Wrestling.

Nic Nemeth is actively working to bring Barbie Blank to TNA. During a Hollywood Heels interview with WhatCulture Wrestling, Nemeth disclosed his efforts, which gained momentum after Blank accompanied him for a flag match against Santino Marella at a Border Pro Wrestling event.

Nemeth recounted his observations of Blank at the independent show, noting her continued vitality.

As I was out there and I had a couple hours with her during the day. She’s an old friend. I saw—I met her, we met a long time ago. We’ve been buddies for freaking 15 years. And she looks great, by the way. She still gets it. Like, she had so much fun, and it was fun to watch her.

He also mentioned the positive reception Blank received from attendees, saying:

We were embracing, you know, being in Canada and embracing the USA and it was fun to watch her react in the fans because she’s usually forever drooled over and applauded because she’s Barbie Blank and Kelly Kelly.

The experience at Border Pro led to direct conversations about a potential TNA role for Blank. Nemeth shared:

So, it was nice to see her jaw-jacking and letting everybody know that she can still go and she can back her stuff up. So as the entire day went on, I said, ‘You know, you wouldn’t mind coming to do TNA a little bit here every once in a while. You could be in our corner. You could—you could help make matches. You could take Santino’s spot because I don’t care. I don’t think he should be in it.’

Nemeth confirmed that these discussions have continued since the event.

So how about this? How about this scenario? How about this one? And then since I got home, I’ve been sending some texts like, ‘Give any thought to it?’ You know, maybe we can bring in—maybe. So I’m buttering her up as much as I can.

Nemeth acknowledged Blank’s current life circumstances but expressed optimism based on her apparent enjoyment of the recent appearance.

She does not need to work. She’s a mother. She’s got it all figured out. She’s done it. But I feel like I could see it in her eyes—she was having a lot of fun the other night. And maybe, just maybe, we could get her over to TNA. And it’s just another sparkly diamond to put on that necklace to let everybody know, hey, come check this show out.
