Nikki Bella has specified the character she would want to portray in a potential match against Rhea Ripley. During a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Bella elaborated on her long-standing desire to compete against Ripley, a sentiment she has expressed for the last several years, but added a new stipulation regarding her alignment for such a contest.
“I think one day it would be incredible to work Rhea Ripley, and I’ve been saying this for the past four or five years. I would really love to do something with her, but I don’t want to be a good girl when I do it.”
These remarks follow her recent return to company programming on the June 9 episode of WWE RAW. In her appearance, Bella spoke positively about the strength of the current women’s roster before she was attacked by Liv Morgan.
The confrontation with Morgan appears to have set the stage for a new program. Bella also commented on this development and the prospect of facing Morgan, with whom she had limited interaction prior to the Evolution event.
“Well, I think one for the future, when Liv came out like a fireball last night, I was like, ‘Oh shit. Okay.’ We’ve only got to see each other a little bit before Evolution, so I’m excited for that.”
