I was shocked when Liv came out like a fireball. It was like incredible. I was like, ‘Oh shoot. Whoa.’ You felt that. I mean, she came to the ring so fast. It was insane.

Bella’s appearance on the program, which was broadcast live on Netflix, marked her first on WWE’s weekly television since 2022 and was promoted as a special message to the WWE Universe. However, the address was cut short by the arrival of Morgan, who stormed the ring to confront the two-time champion. The tense exchange of words quickly escalated, culminating with Morgan delivering an Oblivion to Bella.
Despite the on-screen hostility, Nikki’s return was met with a warm reception backstage. In an interview with PEOPLE, she revealed she was “really nervous” after years away but was comforted by the support from coworkers and officials, which made her feel at home. This return is not planned as a brief cameo; Bella began training in January 2025 for an extended in-ring run, balancing her preparations with motherhood and her podcasting career.

The storyline has also sparked speculation about another Bella returning to the fold. Reports indicate that Nikki’s twin sister, Brie Bella, is in discussions to come out of retirement. The potential comeback could see the Bella Twins reunite for WWE’s all-women’s premium live event, Evolution 2, which is scheduled for July 13 in Atlanta. Brie’s motivation is reportedly tied to supporting her sister, especially after Morgan referenced Nikki’s personal life during their confrontation. Brie’s last WWE appearance was at the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble.
