Tyler Breeze addressed his in-ring future during the recent For The Love of Wrestling convention in Manchester, England. The WWE NXT writer reunited with Fandango at the event, marking his first match since September 2024.
When asked about a possible return to NXT, Breeze responded candidly during his conversation with Jamal Niaz of Monopoly Events.
Yeah, I mean, it’s kind of funny because sometimes, I feel very retired, and then other times, I’m like, you know what? I’m not, I’m not really. It’s just a matter of timing for certain things.
Breeze elaborated on his wrestling schedule since stepping back from full-time competition.
So I stopped wrestling full-time in 2021. I was kind of just enjoying life a little bit, and then I had a kid, I had my first kid, so I was just enjoying being a dad, being a husband, stuff like that.
Breeze confirmed his intentions to continue wrestling while balancing his other responsibilities.
So branching back out, getting in on the indies a little bit, it’s still very much alive. So yeah, I’m not done. I’m not done.
Regarding where fans might see him next, Breeze kept details open-ended.
So where it comes out, where you see me next is kind of wait to be seen, but it’s just a matter of time.
Fandango, Breeze’s tag-team partner, recently returned to WWE NXT on the February 4, 2025, episode. Breeze reacted to the appearance on social media by sharing a photo of them together as NXT Tag Team Champions.
Breeze had been working on the NXT writing team in recent months while Fandango is currently signed to TNA Wrestling.
