Drew McIntyre is reportedly planned to win the 2025 Men’s Elimination Chamber match this Saturday. According to Dr. Chris Featherstone of Backstage Pass, WWE has penciled in the Scottish warrior to emerge victorious from the six-man contest.
The match features a star-studded lineup including John Cena, CM Punk, Logan Paul, Seth Rollins, and Damian Priest alongside McIntyre. The winner earns a championship opportunity against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 41.
McIntyre earned his spot in the match by defeating Jimmy Uso and LA Knight in a triple threat qualifying bout earlier this month on SmackDown. A victory would continue his impressive Elimination Chamber legacy, as he previously won the match in 2021 and 2024.

Last year’s Chamber victory led to McIntyre defeating Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 40, though his celebration was short-lived when Damian Priest immediately cashed in his Money in the Bank contract to take the title.
If McIntyre wins on Saturday, he’ll tie John Cena and Daniel Bryan with three Elimination Chamber victories, trailing only Triple H who holds four wins in the structure.
WWE has been building toward a potential Rhodes-McIntyre program since early 2025 when McIntyre confronted the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion on the first SmackDown of the year. Reports earlier this month suggested McIntyre’s move from Raw to SmackDown was partially designed to position him within the Bloodline storyline while setting up an eventual program with Rhodes.
