WWE released Authors of Pain members Akam and Rezar alongside Paul Ellering on February 7. The trio last appeared together as part of The Final Testament with Karrion Kross and Scarlett in 2024.

The roster cuts also included Isla Dawn, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson, Giovanni Vinci, Blair Davenport, Cedric Alexander, and Isla Dawn. According to Fightful Select, Sonya Deville’s contract will expire in the coming weeks, with WWE opting not to renew. Deville participated in the Women’s Royal Rumble match on February 1.
