WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio appeared in a video package during AAA’s event in Mexico on May 3, promoting the newly announced partnership between the two wrestling promotions. The collaboration comes ahead of WWE’s pending acquisition of AAA, which was revealed during the WrestleMania 41 Night One kickoff show.
Though the deal isn’t expected to finalize until late 2025, both companies have already begun cross-promotion for the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event, scheduled for June 7 at the KIA Forum in Inglewood, California.
Mysterio, a legendary luchador, narrated the opening video package at AAA’s show, emphasizing the global impact of the alliance.
