Renowned wrestling figure Ric Flair has been diagnosed with skin cancer, marking his second such diagnosis within a three-year period. Flair is scheduled to commence treatment for the condition next week.
The 76-year-old WWE legend confirmed the development in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, where he stated, “It’s the second time in three years that I’ve been dealing with skin cancer.” He further added, “I will be undergoing treatment next week.”
Earlier in the week, Flair had used X to deny prior reports of a cancer diagnosis, opting to maintain privacy regarding his medical information until he was ready to share the news personally. He later expressed gratitude for the public’s concern, saying, “Appreciate the concerns!”
