Roman Reigns’ prolonged absence from WWE programming following WrestleMania 41 became a focal point on a recent episode of SmackDown, as Seth Rollins directly addressed the former champion’s status. Reigns has not appeared since the significant event nearly two months prior to the broadcast.
During his segment, Rollins confronted crowd chants directed at him, stating that “The Tribal Chief is on the island of irrelevancy, where he was put after WrestleMania 41.” This declaration came amid chants from the audience, including “CM Punk” and “OTC.”
Reigns’ last televised appearance at WrestleMania 41 concluded with Paul Heyman betraying him. His absence since then stands in stark contrast to his previous presence as a revered figure, stemming from his lengthy reign as the Undisputed Universal Champion.

Adding another layer to the evolving narrative, former Bloodline member Solo Sikoa appeared on SmackDown alongside Jacob Fatu and JC Mateo. Tension was palpable between Rollins’ faction and Sikoa’s group on the show. Solo Sikoa is also a key participant in the upcoming Money in the Bank ladder match.
