Sami Zayn has issued a fiery response after suffering a brutal assault at the hands of Seth Rollins’ faction on Monday Night RAW. The fan favorite rejected Rollins’ offer to leave RAW for SmackDown, leading to a destructive confrontation with Bron Breakker that ended in a referee stoppage.
In a defiant Twitter statement following the attack, Zayn declared:
Yes, there is a target on my back. Just know this – you can throw everything you’ve got at me, I AM NOT GOING ANYWHERE. I will become a world champion.
The conflict escalated throughout Monday’s show after Rollins presented Zayn with an ultimatum during the opening segment. When Zayn told Rollins to “go to hell” in the closing moments, it triggered Breakker’s violent onslaught under Rollins’ direction. The attack marks Zayn’s first major storyline since realigning with WWE’s main roster last week.
