Sami Zayn firmly declined an ultimatum from Seth Rollins during the April 28, 2025 broadcast of WWE Raw, resulting in a physical altercation involving Bron Breakker. Later in the evening, Rollins attacked Zayn following a match stoppage.
The conflict began earlier when Rollins, alongside his new associates Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker, addressed the audience. Rollins spoke of his WrestleMania 41 victory and disparaged supporters of CM Punk and Roman Reigns, positioning himself, Heyman, and Breakker as the defining figures of the industry’s future.
Zayn interrupted this segment, referencing his extensive history with Rollins before dismissing the new alliance as a “load of crap”. Zayn drew parallels between Rollins’ association with Heyman and similar dynamics involving Reigns and Punk, attributing Rollins’ actions to jealousy.

Rollins countered Zayn’s comparisons and insults, presenting a clear choice: Zayn “is either with them or against them.” To avoid conflict, Rollins proposed arranging Zayn’s transfer to the SmackDown brand.
During a subsequent in-ring segment, Rollins pressed Zayn for a decision. Zayn acknowledged their personal connection outside the ring but accused Rollins of manipulative tactics within their professional sphere. Declaring he would not be “blackballed” or forced to live under threat, Zayn emphatically rejected the proposition, telling Rollins to “go to hell”.
This rejection immediately led to Bron Breakker confronting Zayn, setting up the night’s main event match between the two. The contest concluded abruptly when Breakker executed multiple spears on Zayn, prompting the referee to halt the bout. As medical personnel and officials tended to Zayn, Seth Rollins entered the ring and delivered a stomp to his downed former associate as the show concluded.
