Seth Rollins Could Be Part of a Major Shock in WWE's Future Plans

After a series of escalating attacks, speculation is mounting that a vengeful LA Knight could directly interfere with and spoil Seth Rollins’ Money in the Bank cash-in attempt.

Seth Rollins Could Be Part of a Major Shock in WWE’s Future Plans

Seth Rollins secured a guaranteed championship opportunity by winning the Money in the Bank briefcase last weekend, but his path back to a world title may be obstructed by a new and determined rival, LA Knight. The brewing animosity between the two superstars could culminate in Knight costing Rollins his championship contract.

Rollins captured the briefcase for the second time in his career on June 7, outlasting five other competitors. His first cash-in at WrestleMania 31, famously dubbed “The Heist of the Century,” was a landmark success. However, his current quest for gold follows a recent unsuccessful challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship against Jey Uso, raising the stakes for his current MITB run.

The conflict with Knight ignited on the episode of SmackDown just before the ladder match, when Rollins’ faction ambushed Knight during his match against Aleister Black. This heel faction, which Rollins formed with Paul Heyman, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed after WrestleMania 41, has been a dominant force on WWE programming.

Knight’s retribution was swift. During this past Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, he directly targeted Rollins’ stable by interfering in a King of the Ring tournament qualifying match. Knight appeared and hit Bron Breakker with a BFT, effectively taking out Rollins’ enforcer from the bout that also featured Penta, Dominik Mysterio, and Sami Zayn.

Knight’s Vengeance Could Spoil a Second “Heist”

Following his actions on WWE RAW, LA Knight posted a video to his social media accounts, signaling that his campaign against the villainous group was far from over. This escalating feud, which is reportedly building towards a clash at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia later this month, now serves as the foundation for speculation about Rollins’ future.

Given Knight’s bold and defiant character, it is plausible that he would seek the ultimate revenge by preventing Rollins from successfully cashing in the MITB contract. Such an act of interference, while carrying significant consequences, aligns perfectly with the lengths Knight is willing to go when engaged in a heated rivalry.

While this scenario remains speculative, the recent chain of events suggests a major collision is imminent, potentially derailing The Visionary’s championship ambitions entirely.
