The roster for the upcoming WWE 2K25 downloadable content will feature NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal. The announcement was made via social media by WWE Games on June 16, 2025.
O’Neal is included in the “Dunk & Destruction Pack,” which is scheduled for release later this month. The reveal was accompanied by a video showcasing O’Neal’s in-game entrance.
“Shaquille O’Neal’s not just dunking, he’s dropping elbows from the top rope! Who’s ready to play as him in #WWE2K25’s Dunk & Destruction Pack #NBA @SHAQ,” WWE Games stated in the post.

This inclusion marks another intersection between O’Neal and the world of professional wrestling. He has previously competed in matches for both WWE, most notably in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at WrestleMania 32, and for AEW in March 2021.
The “Dunk & Destruction Pack” is the second post-launch content release for the video game. It will also feature fellow NBA player Tyrese Haliburton, the return of The Great Khali, and the debut of Abyss.
