Vince Russo voiced significant disapproval regarding the recent episode structure of WWE SmackDown. He specifically highlighted the opening contest as a fundamental error in the show’s formatting.
The program commenced with Damian Priest and LA Knight teaming against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Russo contended these four wrestlers should have featured in the night’s main event.
“Bro, I don’t know how they’re formatting this show,” Russo stated on his BroDown podcast. “The first match is your main event. That’s the main event of the night.”
Russo elaborated on his view that the most significant match, involving competitors with a major upcoming encounter, was presented too early. “…you are building that throughout the entire show. They had the best match first, and the rest of the show was (shows a cup with crp emoji).”*
In the match, LA Knight secured the victory for his team by pinning Solo Sikoa. Following their win, Priest and Knight engaged in a dispute.
This argument provided an opening for Jacob Fatu, who attacked both Priest and Knight. Subsequently, Drew McIntyre appeared, delivering a Claymore Kick to Fatu and standing tall.
