Tag Team Moves from RAW to SmackDown

WWE confirms roster movement as Katana Chance and Kayden Carter transfer to SmackDown during final week of brand transfer window.

WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced the latest roster addition during the February 7 broadcast from FedEx Forum in Memphis, confirming the transfer of Katana Chance and Kayden Carter from Raw to SmackDown. The move comes during the final week of the WWE transfer window.

The women’s tag team joins Drew McIntyre as new additions to the SmackDown roster.

WWE confirmed McIntyre’s transfer earlier in the day, with the former WWE Champion scheduled for an Elimination Chamber qualifying triple threat match against LA Knight and Jimmy Uso.

Agreement Between Aldis and Adam Pearce

Akira Tozawa also appeared on the broadcast as part of a one-time agreement between Aldis and Raw General Manager Adam Pearce. Tozawa confronted Carmelo Hayes following their Royal Rumble incident, where Hayes’s actions led to Tozawa being replaced by IShowSpeed in the men’s Royal Rumble match.
