The Hardys Unable to Commit to AAA’s Triplemanía Regia Due to Prior Bookings

Matt Hardy confirms scheduling conflicts prevented The Hardys from appearing at AAA's upcoming Triplemanía Regia event, though he remains open to future opportunities.

Matt Hardy clarified why he and brother Jeff won’t compete at AAA’s Triplemanía Regia on June 15 despite earlier speculation. During his podcast, Hardy explained existing commitments made the appearance impossible.

We were asked, but we’re already booked those dates. Maybe down the line. I’d love for us to chase the AAA Tag Team Titles someday.

The update follows reports suggesting TNA stars including The Hardys and Joe Hendry would appear at the WWE-owned Mexican promotion’s event. Hendry, Moose, and the Nemeth brothers remain scheduled for the show alongside AAA talent Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo.

WWE finalized its acquisition of AAA last month, creating crossover opportunities between the promotions. Hardy’s comments leave the door open for future Hardy Boyz appearances in AAA. The veteran tag team continues working select dates while managing their schedule.

Triplemanía Regia marks AAA’s first major event under WWE ownership. The June 15 showcase will emanate from Monterrey, Mexico, featuring talent from both organizations.
