The Rock Makes Major WrestleMania Announcement on SmackDown

The Rock opened the third hour of SmackDown in New Orleans by announcing the location of WrestleMania 42. WWE is returning to the SuperDome on April 11 and 12, 2026, bringing WrestleMania to New Orleans for the third time.

The announcement marks a return to the venue that previously hosted WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and WrestleMania 34 in 2018.

The Rock’s appearance prompted last-minute changes to the SmackDown broadcast schedule.
