Top Free Agent Finally Addresses WWE Move Speculation

During an appearance on the Mas Lucha podcast, El Hijo de Dr Wagner Jr. addressed speculation regarding potential WWE interest in signing him. The former GHC World Heavyweight Champion confirmed his current free agent status while noting his schedule commitments through May 2025.

Right now we have the schedule full up until May so we will do all the currently scheduled dates. I am an independent wrestler so if a promotion is interested in my services, the year has 365 days and I am ready to take on all new challenges.

When asked about his future plans and reports of WWE interest, Wagner provided a measured response.

Despite everything going around on social media, the adequate question to ask would be what I wanted. People will soon know what I want, but my main focus is what is best for me and make sure this mask continues to shine, whether in Mexico or outside of Mexico. Always focused on positive things that also favor Lucha Libre.
