Tiffany Stratton successfully defended her WWE Women’s Championship, overcoming Nia Jax in the main event of the May 16 WWE SmackDown broadcast. The contest saw Nia Jax sustain a visible cut to her forehead.

The injury occurred when Jax, while holding a steel chair, received a dropkick, causing her to bleed almost immediately from the impact. Despite this, the match continued, and after the incident, Stratton executed her signature maneuver, the ‘Prettiest Moonsault Ever,’ to secure the pinfall victory over Jax.

This victory marked Tiffany Stratton’s fourth successful defense of the WWE Women’s Championship. It was also the second occasion on which Stratton has defeated Nia Jax in a championship encounter.
