Vince Russo, a former WWE writer who also had roles with WCW and TNA, has publicly questioned WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H on social media regarding Karrion Kross’s absence from Money in the Bank qualifying matches.
On social media, Russo stated: “Seriously—you want to make somebody? HOW is THIS GUY not in @WWE “Money in the Bank” and . . . WINNING IT?!!! Tell me and we’ll BOTH KNOW. WHAT are you so afraid of @TripleH ?!!! Get out of your Comfort Zone and BOX and STOP REPEATING the SAME THING over and over again with THE SAME PEOPLE!!!”
Karrion Kross has had one televised match on WWE RAW in the initial five months of 2025, though he frequently appears in backstage segments. Creative decisions, such as talent utilization in matches, fall under Triple H’s purview.

The Money in the Bank event is scheduled for June 7, 2025, at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. This will be the 16th iteration of the event and the first to be broadcast on Netflix in most international markets.
Following WWE SmackDown, five participants have secured places in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Andrade, Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, and Penta. Qualification has been determined through triple threat matches.
The sixth and final competitor will be decided on the June 2nd edition of WWE RAW, in a match featuring CM Punk, AJ Styles, and El Grande Americano. CM Punk is a two-time previous winner of Money in the Bank.
