WWE hosted its Royal Rumble 2025 Kickoff event in Indianapolis ahead of tonight’s SmackDown, featuring Indiana Pacers player Tyrese Haliburton. During the event, Michael Cole and Pat McAfee welcomed Haliburton, who predicted John Cena would win the men’s Royal Rumble match.
Triple H appeared on stage following Haliburton’s prediction. The WWE Chief Content Officer addressed the possibility of surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble match, looking directly at Haliburton before mentioning they would talk backstage.
