Triple H has officially confirmed a marquee tag team contest for WWE Money in the Bank, pitting John Cena and Logan Paul against the duo of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. The high-stakes match is scheduled for the premium live event on June 7 in Los Angeles.
The WWE executive announced the match via social media on May 25, 2025, stating, “It’s official. Cena. Paul. Rhodes. Uso.” Triple H’s post also included the message, “Unveiling the official #MITB artwork. LIVE from Los Angeles | June 7 | @peacock,” and showcased event artwork prominently featuring John Cena.
This confirmation follows the dramatic events at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event, where Cody Rhodes made his return to WWE programming. Rhodes intervened during the closing moments to prevent John Cena from influencing the outcome of Jey Uso’s World Heavyweight Championship match against Logan Paul, and subsequently issued the challenge for the tag team encounter at Money in the Bank.
