Trish Stratus proposed on X (formerly Twitter) that Chelsea Green could borrow a protective face mask, subsequent to Green sustaining a nose injury at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24, 2025.
In her social media post, Trish Stratus stated directly to Green, “I have a face mask that you can borrow.” Stratus herself famously wore a protective face mask in 2004 during her WWE tenure after suffering a broken nose. That injury was a result of an attack by Lita with a chair, initiating an intense rivalry that began at Survivor Series 2004, prompting Stratus to wear the mask for a period during her appearances and matches.

Chelsea Green’s injury happened during her bout against Zelina Vega. A botched 619 attempt by Vega resulted in Vega’s shin striking Green’s nose, which led to significant and visible bleeding. Despite continuing the match, Green was ultimately defeated by Vega, who executed an avalanche Code Red from the top rope.

Following the incident, Chelsea Green shared her reaction on social media in a video that also featured Piper Niven and Alba Fyre. Green described her initial shock upon being told by the referee that her nose was broken, as she had first thought he said she had won. She conveyed frustration mixed with some humor about the situation, remarking that she felt robbed and questioned if she was on a hidden camera show, yet concluded with a resilient message about “BIIIG things coming” and her intent not to stay down for long.
The precise severity of Chelsea Green’s condition, whether it is a confirmed broken nose or a less serious wound, is currently unclear.
