Bryan Alvarez reported on Wrestling Observer Live that Adam Cole is not injured following an incident during his TNT Championship defense on the May 28 episode of AEW Dynamite. Concerns for Cole’s condition arose after a specific moment in his match against Kyle Fletcher.
During the contest, Fletcher attempted to powerbomb Cole onto the ring apron from the ringside area. The maneuver did not go as planned, with Cole’s back not making contact with the apron, leading to observations that his head may have sustained a significant impact. Despite the concerning spot, the match continued.
The championship encounter ultimately concluded with Adam Cole retaining his title by disqualification due to interference from Josh Alexander, an ally of Fletcher.
