Update On John Cena’s 2025 Appearances

WWE announced John Cena will appear on SmackDown in Montreal, Dublin, and Lyon in August 2025, as part of his final run of appearances.

WWE has officially announced an expansion of John Cena’s late summer 2025 itinerary, confirming his participation in three international editions of WWE SmackDown. These appearances are scheduled in the period leading up to the WWE Clash in Paris premium live event.

The newly added SmackDown dates will feature Cena in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, on August 8; followed by an appearance in Dublin, Ireland, on August 15; and concluding with a stop in Lyon, France, on August 29. The WWE Clash in Paris event itself is set for August 31, 2025, in Paris, France.

These engagements are part of a significant run for Cena, who has reportedly indicated he has a limited number of appearances, cited as 24, remaining before his anticipated retirement from WWE in-ring competition in December 2025.

In addition to these August SmackDown shows and his involvement at WWE Clash in Paris, Cena’s confirmed upcoming schedule is packed with other notable dates. Fans can also anticipate seeing him at the WWE Money in the Bank event in Los Angeles, California, on June 7, and on WWE RAW in Phoenix, Arizona, on June 9. His forthcoming WWE SmackDown commitments also include the May 30 show in Knoxville, Tennessee; June 13 in Lexington, Kentucky; and June 20 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Furthermore, John Cena is slated for a WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 24 in Tampa, Florida, where he is advertised to compete against R-Truth. Later in the year, Cena is also scheduled for an appearance at WWE Crown Jewel: Perth in Perth, Australia, on October 11.
