An update has surfaced regarding the prospect of WWE hosting a WrestleMania event in Saudi Arabia, alongside ongoing developments concerning the location of WrestleMania 42. While there has been speculation about various international cities hosting future WrestleMania events, including Saudi Arabia where General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Alalshikh had previously shown interest, current information suggests no immediate plans for such a move.
According to a report from Fightful Select, there have been no indications of a WrestleMania being planned for Saudi Arabia in the forthcoming years. The same report mentioned a belief from a longtime WWE employee that if WWE were to hold a major spectacle in the country, it might occur later in the year and adopt a unique branding, such as “Super WrestleMania,” drawing a parallel to the 2018 “Greatest Royal Rumble” event.
Regarding WrestleMania 42, its location remains unconfirmed after WWE announced around May 22-23, 2025, that the event would no longer take place in New Orleans as initially planned. Dwayne Johnson had originally announced on February 21, 2025, that WrestleMania 42 was set for April 11 and 12, 2026, in New Orleans.

Current reports suggest Las Vegas is a strong contender to host WrestleMania 42, potentially making it the second consecutive year the event would be held at Allegiant Stadium, following WrestleMania 41. WWE is also reportedly considering new dates for WrestleMania 42, possibly April 18 and 19, 2026. As part of the revised arrangements, New Orleans is slated to host Money in the Bank on August 29, 2026, an announcement made by Paul Levesque, and will host a future WrestleMania.
