WWE Accidentally Reveals Major Spoiler Involving Title Match

WWE's advertisement for an upcoming AAA Mega Title match may have preemptively indicated a title change.

During the May 26 episode of WWE RAW, a graphic displayed for an upcoming match at WWE x AAA: Worlds Collide indicated the AAA Mega Championship would be contested between El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable. This promotional detail has raised questions, as Alberto El Patron is the current AAA Mega Champion.

El Patron is scheduled to defend the AAA Mega Championship against Vikingo on May 31. The advertisement by WWE for the June 7, 2025, event at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles featuring Vikingo challenging Gable for that specific title suggests a potential outcome for the preceding championship bout.

The interaction between Gable and Vikingo escalated on the May 26 WWE RAW. During a Money in the Bank qualifying match, Vikingo interfered, which contributed to Penta securing a victory over Gable and Dragon Lee. This interference directly builds towards their announced encounter.

The singles match between El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable was officially confirmed during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event for the Worlds Collide show. This event, streaming live on WWE’s YouTube channel in English and Spanish, represents the first significant crossover initiative since WWE’s acquisition of AAA.

The Worlds Collide card will showcase a blend of talent from both WWE and AAA, including a scheduled six-man tag team match involving Legado Del Fantasma and performers from AAA.

Following the announcement of his match with Gable, El Hijo del Vikingo stated he intends to “shut Gable’s mouth” and demonstrate who the true “Gran Jinete” is when they meet in Los Angeles.
